  When everyone was chowing down on funnel cakes, fried bread, and fried Snickers at the Big E, I was craving some good summer food - ribs. I refuse to accept it's already Fall and that summer is history.
  
  Location - Located somewhere in Moodus/East Haddam. The ride to the restaurant, via my GPS, took me through some back roads that was very scenic and a little breath taking. Even the ride back home via another route was beautiful.
  Now when you arrive at the restaurant, the road and parking lots are apparently being repaired so be prepared to travel across some gravel and in some areas, since it rained the day before, had large puddles of water.
  
  Aesthetics - the establishment looks like a bar on the outside and the entrances can be confusing as there's one around front from the parking lot where there's some outside table and chairs, however directly in front of the parking lot is a door that'll take you into the bar though not clearly marked.
  
  Menu - I ordered from the menu online as this was a to-go order. The menu online was very clear and self-explanatory.
  
  Service - The lady that took my order was super friendly and even called me as I was arriving thinking that I had gone to the Manchester location instead (didn't know there was a Manchester location to be honest).
  
  Food - I had the Memphis half rack of ribs that came with a side of salad, cornbread, and an optional side which I opted for some 'slaw.
  First of, the slaw was unimaginative - it wasn't sweet and the slaw, in my opinion, was a little mushy. It didn't taste as if it was freshly made. The cornbread was filling - not too greasy. Salad came in its own little container and was good - plenty of lettuce, carrots, tomato, cheese, and red onions. The dressing I chose was ranch was complimented the salad well.
  The Memphis half rack was a bit dry for my liking and the meat felt a bit on the dried out side. Adding the sauce did help it go down a bit. The sauce tasty and had a apple, cinnamon, and spicy taste to it which did help ribs. (-1)
  
  Rating - 4/5. Definitely worth coming, if not for the food, at least for the ride through the countryside.
